Visit from a Veteran

As I was doing the vacuuming the other day I saw a pair of trousers walk up my driveway.  A man then walked through (literally) my front door into my lounge room and doffed his dilapidated brown hat to me.
He was a short man, very thin wearing a matching brown jacket that was much too big for him.  He had killed himself in 1947 after returning from the war leaving behind his wife and two children.  He regreted this greatly and it caused him much sorrow, but is now reunited with his wife and daughter.  His son is still alive and living in the local area.
This man was in great pain when he was alive.  He had seen so much tragedy during the war and he just could not cope with normal life - or pretending to live a normal life.  He had become an angry man and was not treating his wife and children very well.  The pain drove him to suicide.

Meditating on the train

I once had a job in the city "working 9 to 5" that required me to sit behind a desk all day. Many people thrive on this, but the last few weeks of travelling on the train became very difficult for me. As I was making the journey from home to work I was travelling a parallel path of business to spiritual.  I made these last few weeks easier for myself by meditating, using a guided meditation CD, during my train trip; it blocked out the noise and allowed me to centre myself before entering the hustle and bustle of the office.
On one such journey from Hoppers Crossing to the city I became aware of a lady standing by my seat.  I mentally reached out to her to start a conversation. She told me her name was Amelda Marcos. We were travelling through Altona at the time and I thought that this name was probably not true, so I asked her if she liked shoes. She laughed and said yes she loved shoes and even in her spirit form she admired all the different shoes that were getting on and off the train. In life she had many pairs of shoes in fact, a wardrobe full.
I never got this ladies real name, but she had lived in Altona during her life and had died in the 1970s.  She died in an accident on the train tracks - it wasn't murder or suicide - it was an accident.  Someone out there needs to know this.
This lovely lady is now with the angels continuing her shoe passion in heaven!
